I might as well join in the festivities...

Wow, seems like every one is getting a jump on their Holiday shopping -  in the past few days, I've gotten several e-mails from wives of some of my students, asking for gift recommendations. Seriously, the BEST two gifts you can buy for the woodworker in your life are these two devices:

There are a lot of digital angle cubes on the market, but I like this one the best because it runs on a 9 volt battery, not one of those tiny coin shaped batteries that die every after an hours' use.

And this protractor is not only a bargain, but a really accurate and well made tool. I have owned a few of these protractors, made by different manufacturers and this one is the nicest.

Can't go wrong with either of these tools.

But...

Here's an even better idea - why not come to my next class and make a few gifts? I just added a two day class on the schedule - and we're making these cool watches.

Out of all the projects we make throughout the year, this watch is the one that everyone remembers. And wants to make.

I added the class on about a week ago, and there are just three spaces left in it - so why not consider an early Christmas gift for the woodworker in your life - and give the gift of this class?

Here are some details -

Watchmaking class
Dates: December 9 and 12, 6-9 pm
Tuition $85, Materials: $20
Pre-requisite: Basic Woodworking

The lab fee includes materials for one watch, but I'll have extra watch inserts and wood available for purchase, should you (or your woodworker) want to make more than one.

(This is very likely!!)

To enroll, just use the PayPal tab on the left and send in your deposit. The balance isn't due until the first night of class.

Hope you can join us - this is a seriously fun class!
